◆Even Pig Photos Face Scrutiny

The reporting partner shared his own unpleasant experience:

"I took a photo of a pig I was raising at home to sell it, and sent it to acquaintances asking if they wanted to buy it. During a street inspection, they checked my phone and found the pig photo. They interrogated me about why I sent a pig photo, but after I explained I was trying to sell it, they finally returned my phone.

The inspections are so annoying that some people only use their phones at home and don't carry them outside. They check not only photos but also text messages exchanged with acquaintances. Since it might cause problems later, I try to avoid writing messages or taking photos and videos as much as possible."

In urban areas, relatively well-off people generally own mobile phones. Residents are well aware that these seemingly convenient devices could actually be dangerous tools that threaten their personal safety. (ISHIMARU Jiro)
